Please read the Guidelines and Application Instructions before proceeding any further. In case you prefer preparing your application form in a Word file, you can use the Letter of Intent form or Full Proposal form (also used for AN Early Career Grants). Please note that you are not able to directly upload these forms into our grant management system, you will have to manually copy and paste your answers in the online form. We only take application forms completed and submitted via our online system into consideration.

Budget

Funding goes to the group/institute to which the P.I. is affiliated.
Maximum grant amount awarded: €200K.
Project duration: 2 or 3 years, maximum budget changes with duration.
A maximum of 50% of the total budget can be requested per year.

Funding Overview

Funding cannot be used for:

• Salary of the P.I. (except under extraordinary circumstances that must be justified)
• Salary or financial reimbursement of international collaborators (for specifics for Cross Border Grants with AN or FVA, see Cross Border Grants)
• Institutional overhead
• Large capital equipment
• Construction of buildings
• Tax-free scholarships
