CROSS BORDER GRANTS APPLICATION INSTRUCTIONS

In case you prefer preparing your application form in a Word file, you can use the Letter of Intent form or Full Proposal form (also used for AN Early Career Grants). Please note that you are not able to directly upload these forms into our grant management system, you will have to manually copy and paste your answers in the online form. We only take application forms completed and submitted via our online system into consideration.

This call is open for applications from 2 January 2025 to 30 January 2025 13:00.

Budget

• Maximum grant amount awarded: €200K
• Maximum allowed split PI and co-PI: 60:40 (€120K:€80K)
• Fixed project duration of 2 years
• A maximum of 70% of the (co-)PI’s budget can be requested per year
• Funding goes to the group/institute to which the (co-)PI is affiliated

Funding Overview

Funding cannot be used for:

• Salary of the (co-)PI, except under extraordinary circumstances that must be clearly justified
• Institutional overhead
• Large capital equipment
• Construction of buildings
• VAT
• Administrative overheads and other indirect costs
• Potentially other costs, depending on the organisations involved
